Though the movie is supposed be taking place in the near future as in the day after tomorrow most of what it satirizes has
to a great extent already happened. The Iraq war is the most privatized war in American history. And this is all thanks to
Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld and the neocons. The company with some of the biggest contracts in Iraq is Halliburton and
its subsidiary KBR : Kellog , Brown & Root. These and other companies have ripped off the American government for a billion
here , a billion there. Dick Cheney so happened to be the former CEO of Halliburton. Isn't this a conflict of interest.
Anyway the film is entertaining , funny, satirical, disturbing and a little too close to the truth for most Americans. So
it probably not get to play as much as it should . Americans as we know can't handle the truth. They prefer the comforting
propaganda of the Bush neocon Noise Machine and Echo-Chamber which helps them to sleep at night.
